Headings and sub-headings play an important role for SEO. Don't neglect headings in your posts. Write headings in your posts whenever it is necessary. SEO Title Tag Best Practices
Hi friends, today in the web world it is very competitive to get good ranking on google. We have already discussed on optimizing the title tags for SEO before. If you haven't read that post you can read it here.
Title tag is an important SEO practice to optimize your site for search engines. Search engines mostly rely on the title tags to crawl, because title contains the lines which tells us what the page is about. It is very important to write the best titles for our posts. You need to be careful while writing a title for a page to get good rankings on google.
Title is a name of a page or document written between <title> and </title> tags in the head tag.
How to format Title tags?
The main thing you have to keep in your mind is using the best keywords. Yes I already told If content is the king then keyword is queen. So the best practice to achieve good ranking always lies here. So you have to choose the best keywords for your title to describe your post within 70 characters. Google detects only the first 70 characters and it leaves the remaining characters in your title. So I recommend you to use your website's brand name at the end of your title. I feel it is also better when you cut the tail(your brand or website name from your title) when your website name dilutes your title. If your brand is famous then you can place your brand name in the front. Keep in mind that google detects the keywords of your title from left to right so put your primary keywords (which are most important.) at the left side that is towards the front.How to choose best title for SEO?
I already discussed about this before and repeating it now. Use best suitable keywords in your title which can be easily identified by google. When it comes to keywords to choose for any title I think it's somewhat difficult to do. But experts can do it, because it's an art for them. So try using the best keywords for your titles.I recommend you to use and, or, if, but, then, etc in your keywords. It is unnecessary because only first 70 characters are read by google and these words occupy the space which can be used by some other important keywords.
Tips to write best titles:
- Don't repeat same title name for different posts on your blogs or sites. This may harm your rankings because of duplicate content.
- When your post targets only a specific geographic location then please remember to put it in your title.
- Don't use same keyword more than a single time in your title.

8 Tips to reduce load time of Blog/Website
1. Avoid using images for template background:
Images take more time to load. Hence your blog takes more time for loading. So it is better to remove the background images in your templates. You can use background colors instead of images in your CSS. Just remove the url of the image and place the color code in the background.Example:

2.Use less Social Sharing icons and widgets:
We know social sharing is very much important to get traffic into our blogs. But it is also good to avoid more number of social sharing widgets on your blogs because it takes more loading time. So better avoid Social Widgets where unnecessary. I don't encourage you to remove all your social widgets because meanwhile it is important for SEO to get traffic to your blogs. Just remove them if you think it is unnecessary or not useful.3. Use Limited number of posts on Home Page:
If all your posts are landing on your home page then your blog will take time to load. So avoid more posts on your home page. 5-6 posts on your home page is more than enough. As I already told before more number of posts can take more time to load. This will make your visitors hard to wait.4. Avoid using Java script:
Javascript makes your page to load very slow. Don't use more javascript in your code. Avoid using javascript where it is unnecessary. Don't link your scripts from external site as it takes long time to download the script from other site to your blog.5. Reduce images on your blog:
You have to use images in your posts because pictures says a lot than the words. It is also easy for search engines to find your blog. But using more images takes long time to load. So here you need to think and follow before you use images. Avoid using more images if not necessary.6. Reduce advertisements:

Optimize your blog post titles for SEO
If you are using a template from Blogger then you need to make some changes on it to fit your needs and also to fit the search engine needs. Normally search engine don’t focus on the markup importantly but it’s a good thing to change it to something user friendly. What Blogger templates like ‘Simple’, Travel’ etc. have h1 tag as it’s Blog title, which is normal. But the Post title is not okay that all, it is in an h3 tag, for many reasons your blog might not being shown up in the search results and this is on of those reasons.
Optimize the post title to heading2 in Blogger
Yeah!!! now lets discuss on how to make changes to your Template to make your blog search engine friendly and user friendly.Just follow the below steps:
- Login to your Blogger Dashboard
- Click on the Template tab and Edit HTML.
- Click on Proceed.
- Check mark the ‘Expand Widget Template’ on the top the Template editor.
- Search for the below line of code or something similar to the below code.
<h3 class='post-title entry-title' itemprop='name'> - Now you just need to do a small change in the above given code. Just
replace
<h3>to<h2>, don’t make any more changes than this. Here you need to change only the number 3 to 2 i.e., h3 to h2. Remember that you also needed to change the ending tag of h3. You have to change both starting<h3>and ending</h3>tag into the template. That’s it, you are done.

Don’t forget to change both starting and ending tags <h3> and
</h3> to <h2> and </h2>. You will get error if you forget to
change ending tag after changing the start tag.
- You will find the tag two times. One is for Desktop version Template and
another is for Mobile version Template. I recommend you to change all h3 that
marks as the post title to h2. Searching for
<h3will bring up the codes but as i already said, remember to change corresponding closing tag too.
