It needs a lot of programming to make robot to work. Many industries are now looking for robots to assign some work to them instead of human beings. So the industries are trying to get good results from robots. The industries are looking for some other alternatives that can replace a man to work in their companies. If robots are made to work, then it doesn't guarantee that it provides a perfect result to us(As in the ROBOT movie). Industries need Robots with new features which are able to see, hear & sense the feelings. They are waiting for those robots which can be an alternative to a human being, are to be developed. So the robotics needs challenging people who can develop and maintain robots in future.

CBSE JEE Main 2013 Examination details:

JEE main examination will be held in two papers like paper-I exam and paper-2. In these two papers JEE main paper-1 exam consist of physics, chemistry and mathematics in the objective type. JEE main paper 1 exam is also for all those who want to pursue engineering, the latter is for students who wish to study architecture or planning at non-IIT institutes.

Jee Main Paper-1 Exams is given either online or offline mode exams but jee main paper 2 examination is only on offline mode.  Jee Main Paper-1 online.

Important Dates:

  1. Exam will be held from 08.04.2013 - 25.04.2013.
  2. Candidates will be required to make their exam date selection through online mode between 1.02.2013 to 15.02.2013.
  3. If an online test candidate does not make this selection then a randomly selected slot will be assigned, based on the availability.
  4. Paper-I (offline) and paper-II will be held next year on April 7.
  5. Registrations for the new Joint Entrance Exam 2013 (JEE) will starts from 08.11.2012 onwards.
  6. CBSE JEE Mains Online Application 2013 entire process will be completed only in online.

FREE COACHING to ST, SC and BC Candidates for Civil Prelims Exam 2013

Dr. Y.S.R. AP Study Circle for STs-PETC Hyderabad, invites applications online to
http://twsis.cgg.gov.in from the eligible ST ,SC, and BC candidates for admission into the
FREE Coaching Programme for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam- 2013 which
includes free coaching, free books, free boarding & lodging and other benefits.

I. Eligibility

1. Only candidates belonging to ST, SC and BC can apply.
2. Candidate shall be at least a Graduate (Bachelors Degree) from any
recognized University.
3. Age limit as on 1st August 2012 is
· 35 years for Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes
· 33 years for Backward Classes.
4. The candidate's and his/her parents combined annual income should not
exceed Rs.2.00 Lakhs
5. Candidates who are employed or undergoing regular/correspondence courses of
education are not eligible.
6. Candidates, who have already availed coaching facility from any GOVT study
circle anywhere in AP or India, are not eligible for present coaching
programme.
7. Only Andhra Pradesh candidates are eligible to apply.
8. Physically Challenged candidates who are ST/SC/BC can only apply

II. Allotment of seats.


· Scheduled Tribes - 75%
· Scheduled Castes - 15%
· Backward Classes - 10%
· Physically Challenged - 3% on merit among physically challenged candidates
belonging to SC/ST/BC will be selected across all categories with their district
as a unit in case of STs and zone in case of SC & BCs
· Women -33% of quota reserved for Women candidates belonging to ST/SC/ BC
in each category.
· District wise Quota for ST candidates: Each District will be treated as a
separate unit and the reservation quotas will be applied among the natives of
each District on pro-rata basis as per ST population in each district as per GO
Ms.No.90 SW Dept. TW Edn.1 Dt.1-9-2009. The district wise allotment of seats
as follow.
Srikakulam-2; Vizianagaram-3; Visakapatnam-8; East Godavari-3; West
Godavari-2; khammam-10; Warangal-7; Adilabad-6; Nellore-4; Krishna-2;
Guntur-3; Prakasham-2; Chittoor-2; Kadapa-1; Ananthapur-2; Kurnool-1;
Mahboobnagar-4; Rangareddy-2; Medak-2;Nizamabad-2; Karimnagar-1;
Nalgonda-5; Hyderabad-1;
· For SC and BCs- On merit in Zonal level.

III. Selection Procedure-


Candidates Selection is based on MERIT basis of marks in (SSC+Inter+Graduation).
· Academic courses Average: The total average will be developed on the basis of
percentage of marks from SSC, Intermediate, Graduation. i.e., SSC% +
Intermediate% + Graduation% divided by 3.
· Weightage of 10 marks will also be given to the General Students (Social
Science, Humanities and Arts) for maintaining balance between Science and
Social Science. This weightage will be added to the Total Average of General
Students.
· Grand Percentage: This will be developed by adding Academic Average and
weightage of arts graduation. Grand Percentage = Academic Average +
Weightage of 10 marks to Arts graduates.
· The RANKS (at district, Zone and category level) will be developed on the basis
of GRAND PERCENTAGE
· The selection is based on Grand Percentage by keeping District Quota on merit
for STs and Zonal Quota on merit for SC and BCs.

PhD programme in Biological Sciences at INSTITUTE OF BIORESOURCES AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The Institute invites applications from post graduate candidates for admission to the PhD programme in Biological Sciences starting from January 2013. IBSD is an autonomous R & D institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India with excellent research facilities for sustainable development of bioresources using tools of modern biology. Broad area of research at the Institute is Plant
Bioresources, Microbial Bioresources and Animal Bioresources. Selected candidates shall be eligible for the monthly stipend and annual contingency grant which will be higher than that of normal fellowship programme.

Eligibility:

• Candidates shall be eligible for registration in an ongoing programme of research in IBSD leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), if he/she has obtained 55% marks in aggregate (B or B+ only in the 10 point scale) in the Master’s Degree Examination.
• A candidate belonging to SC/ST who has obtained 50% marks in aggregate in Master Degree examination shall be eligible for registration.

PhD programmes:

• Admission to the PhD programme shall be done in the month of December 2012.
• The programme will start on 1st week of January 2013.
• Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/ICAR-JRF examination are eligible for direct interview.

Selection procedure:

• If number of CSIR-UGC NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/ICAR-JRF qualified applicants are more than the available PhD positions, selection will be based on only interview with the NET/JRF qualified candidates.
• Selected candidates will be informed to join the PhD programme of IBSD within a week time from the date of announcement of result.
• Candidates are requested to refer to the Institutes website (www.ibsd.gov.in) for Application Form and PhD notifications.

Fellowship:

Rs.12,000/month for Doctoral fellows(Non-NET), Rs.16,000/month for who qualified NET.

Visakhapatnam Port Trust proposed to engage Sports Trainees

The Visakhapatnam Port Trust is proposed to engage Sports Trainees, and hence the
applications are invited from meritorious sports men/women in the following disciplines,
who have represented University/State in Nationals and International.
1) CRICKET 2) HOCKEY 3) FOOTBALL 4) SHUTTLE BADMINTON 5) VOLLEYBALL
The qualifications, age and other requirements for engagement of sports trainees
are as follows:
1. No permanent absorption in VPT will be considered.
2. The age should be between 18 and 23.
3. The sports trainees should stay for a minimum period of 3 years and sign a contract
giving an undertaking to serve Port for a period of 3 years.
4. Stipend @ Rs.6,000/- for University representation, Rs.6,500/- for National
participation and Rs.7,500/- for International participation on monthly basis during
the 1st year.
5. The 2nd and 3rd year stipend shall be decided by a Committee after evaluating the
performance of the Trainees during 1st year.
6. The management shall ensure that the Trainees shall compensate the Port Trust
either with 3 months notice pay or 3 months stipend received, in case, the candidate
is quitting the organization during the 3 years period.
7. The players and participants (i.e. employees and Trainees) of the games shall be
extended the incentives available as per the guidelines of the Ministry of
Sports/Department of Public Enterprises for their participation/Winning medals in
International events, as directed by the Ministry vide its letter No.35021/22/2008-PEII
, dt.22.10.2008.
8. The trainees will be given full kit as per requirement of respective game once in a
year. Outstation allowance, while representing Port on official tour will be extended
as per MPSCB guidelines.
9. They should not represent any other Association without prior approval of competent
authority.
10. They are eligible for 12 Casual Leaves per annum during the contract period.
11. They shall be covered under comprehensive Insurance Scheme.
12. Indoor medical facilities will be extended at Port Hospital for any injury during the
contract period.
13. They shall be under administrative control of Administration Department.
14. All Trainees shall be provided Type-I quarter on a nominal rent basis.

The National Institute of Oceanography, Goa, is a premier research institute of the Council of Scientific and
Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications for Ph.D. Programme under Academy of Scientific and
Innovative Research (AcSIR) from eligible candidates.

Eligibility:
Ph.D. (Science): A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/Medicine or B.S (of 4 year duration) or a Master’s degree in Science having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies, e.g. CSIR, UGC, DBT, DST etc.), INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships.

Number of seats available: Maximum 15

Note: Only those students having eligibility to get fellowship from any of the national funding agencies on joining for PhD at CSIR- Laboratories will be admitted at NIO.
CSIR Scientists recruited 2009 onwards/ Existing Research Fellows/ Projects Assistants (working at CSIR labs for a minimum of one year) who fulfil the qualifications are also eligible to apply.

JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (JUNIOR FELLOWSHIP), 2012-2013

  • The term of the Fellowship shall be for a maximum period of 2 years, extendable
    by 1 more year in special circumstances if recommended by the Research
    Projects Committee.
  • The maximum number of Junior Research Fellowships available for the year
    2012-2013 is eighty (80) only.
  • Fellowship value: Rs. 16000/- p.m. with a contingency grant of Rs.
    15000/- p.a.
  • ELIGIBILITY:
  • (a) Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s
    Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by the
    UGC in History/Archaeology/Museology are eligible for this examination. The
    Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Visually
    Handicapped(VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without
    rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this
    Examination.
    (b) Candidates who are admitted for a Ph.D programme can apply for the ICHR Junior
    Research Fellowship (Junior Fellowship). The grant to the selected candidates would
    be available only upon their registration for a Ph.D degree.

POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP (GENERAL FELLOWSHIP), 2012-2013

  • The term of the Fellowship shall be for a maximum period of 2 years, extendable
    by 1 more year in special circumstances if recommended by the Research
    Projects Committee.
  • The maximum number of Post-Doctoral Fellowships available for the year 2012-2013 is 10 (ten) only.
  • Fellowship value: Rs. 28000/- p.m. with a contingency grant of Rs. 20000/- p.a.
  • ELIGIBILITY: Ph.D in History/archaeology.

SENIOR ACADEMIC FELLOWSHIP (SENIOR FELLOWSHIP), 2012-2013

  • The term of the Fellowship shall be for a maximum period of 2 years, extendable
    by 1 more year in special circumstances if recommended by the Research
    Projects Committee.
  • The maximum number of Senior Academic Fellowship available for the year
    2012-2013 is 10 (ten) only.
  • Fellowship value: Rs. 40000/- p.m. with a contingency grant of Rs. 40000/- p.a.
  • ELIGIBILITY: Senior scholars are invited to submit research proposals for SENIOR ACADEMIC FELLOWSHIP .
